Lane Closures

• The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement an overnight closure of eastbound I-4 Express from Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441) through Ivanhoe Boulevard starting as early as 11 p.m. on Monday, August 31, through 5 a.m. the following morning, Tuesday, September 1.

  This closure is necessary for toll gantry work near Ivanhoe Boulevard. See detour information below.

  Detour Information

  Motorists traveling eastbound on I-4 Express will be directed to exit near Orange Blossom Trail (local exits 81-88) to eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4). Motorists can re-enter eastbound I-4 Express just south of Maitland Boulevard (State Road (S.R.) 414).

  Access to and from eastbound I-4 Express direct connect ramps at South Street and S.R. 408 will be restricted as part of the closure.

  FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs. Work schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

• Sunday, August 30, through Wednesday, September 2, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists should expect intermittent eastbound and westbound flagging operations on S.R. 60 between Peavine Road and the Florida Scenic Trail Roadway for drainage installation. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Tuesday, September 8, through Thursday, September 10, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists should expect intermittent eastbound and westbound flagging operations on S.R. 60 between Peavine Road and the Florida Scenic Trail Roadway for drainage installation. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy. 

• Sunday, August 30, through Thursday, September 3, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists can expect intermittent nighttime single and double lane closures in the inside, outside, and turn lanes on U.S. 192 from Bamboo Lane to Main Street. These closures are necessary for paving, thermoplastic striping, and signalization work.

• Sunday, August 23 through Thursday, August 27, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.: Motorists can expect alternating single lane closures on northbound and southbound S.R. 401 from Charles M. Rowland Avenue to Payne Way.

• Sunday, August 23 to Thursday, August 27, from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect intermittent single- and double-lane closures in the center and outside lanes of eastbound and westbound S.R. 423 (Lee Road) between Kingswood Drive and Adanson Street. These closures are necessary for crews to perform drainage structure installation and concrete work.

• Sunday, August 23 through Thursday, August 27, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists can expect intermittent inside and outside lane closures on eastbound and westbound Pineda Causeway (S.R. 404) from U.S. 1 (S.R. 5) to S.R. A1A.

  These closures are needed for paving operations.

• Monday, August 24 through Friday, August 28, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Motorists can expect a right shoulder closure on the northbound I-95 exit ramp to S.R. 46 (Exit 223), as well as closures on the northbound and southound inside shoulders. All exits will remain open at all times.

  These closures are needed for ramp widening work and restoration. The ramp will be temporarily reduced to 11 ft wide as this work takes place. The daytime shoulder closures are necessary for guardrail and ditch pavement work.

• Sunday, August 23 through Thursday, August 27, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists can expect single and double lane closures on southbound and northbound I-95 from S.R. 46 (Exit 223) to S.R. 50 (Exit 215) and from I-95 northbound to Addison Canal.

  These closures are needed for paving activities.

  FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk and ride with caution and courtesy!

• Monday, August 24 through Tuesday, August 25, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: The off-ramp from northbound I-95 to West Main Street (Exit 223) will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, concluding on Wednesday, August 26.

  • Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access West Main Street (Exit 223) should continue north on I-95 and exit at Deering Parkway (Exit 231). From there, turn left onto westbound Deering Parkway, immediately re-enter southbound I-95, and proceed to West Main Street (Exit 223).

• Sunday, August 23 to Thursday, August 27, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect intermittent single-lane closures in the inside and outside lanes of northbound and southbound S.R. 436 between Lake Howell Road and Casselton Drive. These closures are necessary for crews to perform milling and paving work.

• Monday, August 24 to Friday, August 28, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Motorists can expect intermittent single-lane closures in the right turn lanes of northbound and southbound S.R. 436 from Lake Howell Road to Winter Woods Boulevard. These closures are necessary for crews to perform concrete work.

• Monday, August 24 to Friday, August 28, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect alternating inside and outside single-lane closures in both directions of S.R. 436, between South Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441), and the Seminole County Line. These closures are necessary for crews to perform thermoplastic striping work along the corridor.

• Sunday, August 23 to Saturday, August 29: Motorists can expect outside left shoulder closures on southbound S.R. A1A from S.R. 518 to Volunteer Way. These closures are necessary for crews to perform drainage installation and sidewalk work.

• Sunday, August 23 to Saturday, August 29: Motorists can expect left-turn lane and shoulder closures on southbound S.R. A1A from Palm Springs Boulevard to Atlantic Boulevard. These closures are necessary for crews to perform drainage installation and sidewalk work.

• Sunday, August 23 to Saturday, August 29: Motorists can expect left-turn lane and shoulder closures on southbound S.R. A1A from Pine Tree Drive to the Lowes Entrance. These closures are necessary for crews to perform drainage installation and sidewalk work.

• Friday, August 21 to Friday, August 28 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists can expect flagging operations on northbound and southbound State Road (S.R.) A1A just north of Granada Boulevard. These temporary traffic operations are necessary for the contractor to complete concrete curb and gutter installation, clearing and grubbing, sidewalk work, and roadway widening.

• Friday, August 21 to Friday, August 28 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists can expect inside and outside single lane closures on northbound and southbound State Road (S.R.) A1A from East International Speedway Boulevard to Milsap Road for concrete removal, curb installation, midblock construction, and utilities.

• Sunday August 23 to Thursday, August 27 from 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists can expect outside and inside single lane closures on westbound and eastbound State Road 430 (Mason Avenue) from Clyde Morris Blvd to east of Beach Street to allow for concrete sidewalk work and signalization.

• Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Pineda Causeway (S.R. 404)

  Sunday, August 23, through Monday, August 24: The on-ramp from Pineda Causeway to northbound I-95 will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, concluding on Tuesday, August 25.

  • Motorists who wish to access northbound I-95 from Pineda Causeway may travel north on Wickham Road from Pineda Causeway east of the interchange, continue on Wickham Road as it curves west, then proceed west to access the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
  • Motorists who wish to access northbound I-95 from Pineda Causeway may also travel north on Lake Andrew Drive from Pineda Causeway west of the interchange, turn right onto eastbound Wickham Road, and proceed east to access the northbound I-95 on-ramp.

  Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Wickham Road

  Tuesday, August 25: The off-ramp from northbound I-95 to Wickham Road (Exit 191) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Wednesday, August 26.

  • Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access Wickham Road (Exit 191) should continue north and take the exit for Viera Boulevard (Exit 193). From there, turn left onto Viera Boulevard, immediately re-enter southbound I-95, and proceed to the Wickham Road exit (Exit 191).

  Wednesday, August 26: The on-ramp from Wickham Road to northbound I-95 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Thursday, August 27.

  • Motorists who wish to access northbound I-95 from Wickham Road may travel north on Murrell Road from Wickham Road east of the interchange, turn left onto westbound Viera Boulevard, and proceed west to access the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
  • Motorists who wish to access northbound I-95 from Wickham Road may also travel north on Lake Andrew Drive from Wickham Road west of the interchange, turn right onto eastbound Viera Boulevard, and proceed east to access the northbound I-95 on-ramp. 

  Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Fiske Boulevard (S.R. 519)

  Thursday, August 27: The off-ramp from northbound I-95 to Fiske Boulevard (Exit 195) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Friday, August 28.

  • Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access Fiske Boulevard (Exit 195) should take the prior exit for Viera Boulevard (Exit 193), turn left onto westbound Viera Boulevard, turn right onto northbound Stadium Parkway, and continue north as Stadium Parkway becomes Fiske Boulevard.

• Monday, August 24, to Friday, August 28, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Motorists can expect single lane closures on southbound State Road (S.R.) A1A from north of Wisteria Drive to Roberta Road for the installation of curb and concrete work.

• Monday, Aug. 24, through Friday, Aug. 28, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Motorists are advised that there will be single-lane closures on U.S. 441 northbound and southbound from north of SE 178th Place in Summerfield to south of SE 62nd Avenue in Belleview for shoulder work.

• Sunday, Aug. 23, through Thursday, Aug. 27, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night: Motorists are advised that there will be nightly single-lane closures eastbound and westbound on S.R. 40 from NE 64th Avenue in Silver Springs to SE 196th Terrace Road for milling and paving.

These closures are necessary for crews to perform signal and concrete work.

• Sunday night, Aug. 23, through Thursday morning, Aug. 27, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists are advised that there will be single and double-lane closures on both northbound and southbound I-75 between State Road (S.R.) 200 and S.R. 326 for excavation and embankment work, as well as milling and resurfacing activities.    

  FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy!

• Sunday, August 23 through Thursday, August 27, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect single and double-lane closures southbound Interstate 95 (I-95), between C.R. 5A (Deering Parkway) (Exit 231) to S.R. 46 (Exit 223).

  These closures are needed for milling and resurfacing of deteriorating asphalt in various locations
