About
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is resurfacing 24 miles of northbound and southbound Interstate 95 (I-95) from south of Malabar Road (State Road (S.R.) 514) to north of Fiske Boulevard (S.R. 519). The ramps at the following interchanges will also be repaved:
- Malabar Road,
- Palm Bay Road (County Road (C.R.) 516),
- U.S. 192, S.R. 518 (Eau Gallie Boulevard),
- S.R. 404 (Pineda Causeway), Wickham Road,
- and Fiske Boulevard.
Other improvements include building barriers to protect the overpass piers at Minton Road, S.R. 404, and Viera Boulevard; applying new deck coatings on the bridges over S.R. 518 and Lake Washington Road; upgrading pavement markings; and improving the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS).

Sunday, October 18 through Thursday, October 22, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect alternating single- and double-lane closures on the inside and middle lanes of northbound I-95 from Malabar Road (Exit 173) to U.S. 192.
These closures are needed for paving activities.
