Beginning Sunday, March 22, 2026: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting routine bridge work on Interstate 4 (I-4) at Orange Boulevard in Seminole County and from south of Dirksen Drive/Debary Avenue to Saxon Boulevard in Volusia County. Intermittent eastbound and westbound single-lane and double-lane closures will be necessary to facilitate this work. Please see the lane closure schedule from FDOT below:
Sunday, March 22, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
- Westbound I-4 bridge over Dirksen Drive: Lane closures will occur in the far-left lanes.
Monday, March 23, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
- Eastbound I-4 bridge over Orange Boulevard: Lane closures will occur in the far-right lane.
Monday, March 23, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
- Westbound I-4 bridge over Dirksen Drive: Lane closures will occur in the far-left lanes.
Tuesday, March 24, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
- Westbound I-4 bridge over Dirksen Drive: Lane closures will occur in the far-left lanes.
Wednesday, March 25, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
- Eastbound I-4 bridge over Orange Boulevard: Lane closures will occur in the far-right lane.
Thursday, March 26, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
- Eastbound I-4 bridge over Orange Boulevard: Lane closures will occur in the far-right lane.
Friday, March 27, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
- Eastbound I-4 bridge over Orange Boulevard: Lane closures will occur in the far-left lanes.
This work is being conducted as part of the I-4 Bridge Rehabilitation project to smooth bridge approaches. The work schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
