• Sunday, November 1 to Sunday, November 8: Motorists can expect continuous eastbound and westbound closures of School Street from North Elder Road to U.S. 17 (Monroe Road). These closures are necessary to allow crews to safely complete concrete and asphalt roadway improvements that will better accommodate freight traffic.

  Motorists traveling from Monroe Road who wish to access North Elder Road may detour south to Church Street, then turn west and continue to North Elder Road.

• Sunday, November 1 to Thursday, November 5, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect intermittent single-lane closures in the outside lanes and side streets of northbound and southbound S.R. 436 between Lake Howell Road and Casselton Drive. These closures are necessary for crews to perform milling and paving work.

  FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk and ride with caution and courtesy!

• Monday, November 2 to Friday, November 6, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Motorists can expect intermittent single-lane closures in the inside and outside lanes of northbound and southbound S.R. 436 from Lake Howell Road to Casselton Drive. These closures are necessary for crews to perform concrete work and manhole adjustments.
