Motorists are advised that a traffic shift will be implemented on State Road (S.R.) 60 from Blanket Bay Slough to Peavine Road beginning Sunday, May 31, through Wednesday, June 3.
This traffic shift is expected to remain in place for approximately three days as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) performs resurfacing and utility work.
As part of this work, traffic will be shifted to the northbound side of the roadway, with one lane maintained in each direction.
Periodic single-lane closures will occur during both daytime and nighttime hours. The speed limit will remain reduced to 50 mph throughout the corridor.
