Beginning as early as Tuesday, June 2: Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement lane closures along Ocean Shore Boulevard (State Road (S.R.) A1A) near East Granada Boulevard in Ormond Beach beginning as early as Tuesday, June 2.
This work requires temporary daytime detours and traffic shifts to safely accommodate paving operations and construction activities.
During construction, the northbound and southbound lanes of Ocean Shore Boulevard between Standish Drive and East Granada Boulevard will be closed non-concurrently.
This work is anticipated to be a two-day operation beginning with northbound traffic shifting to the southbound side of the road to pave the northbound lanes. Northbound traffic will be shifted back to the northbound lanes the following day for paving in the southbound lanes. Southbound traffic will be detoured both days. Lanes will reopen to traffic at night.

Tuesday, June 2, through Wednesday, June 3, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the northbound lanes followed by the southbound lanes of Ocean Shore Boulevard will be closed between East Granada Boulevard and Standish Drive.
- Detour information:
- Tuesday, June 2, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists traveling northbound on Ocean Shore Boulevard will be redirected to the southbound side of the roadway to continue northbound.
- Tuesday, June 2, and Wednesday, June 3, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists traveling southbound on Ocean Shore Boulevard will be directed to turn right onto westbound Standish Drive, turn left onto southbound North Halifax Drive, and then continue south to East Granada Boulevard. From there, motorists can turn left to return to Ocean Shore Boulevard.
Daytime flagging operations will guide motorists at the Standish Drive intersections with Ocean Shore Boulevard and Halifax Drive.
