Monday, July 15, through Friday, July 26, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists should expect daytime intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures on U.S. 301 from Northeast 180th Street to the Alachua/Marion County line for paving operations. Please reduce your speed, alertly merge into an open lane, and cautiously bypass the work zone.

Friday, July 12, through Friday, August 9, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Intermittent, Eastbound and Westbound single lane closures along Colonial Drive (S.R. 50) from Pine Hills Road to Tampa Avenue for work on curbs and sidewalks.

Motorists should be advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be closing two westbound lanes of the Conroy Road Interstate 4 (I-4) overpass in Orlando continuously beginning as soon as 9 p.m. Monday, July 8. During this closure, one westbound inside (left) lane and two left turn lanes on Conroy Road will remain open.

An additional lane closure will occur on westbound Conroy Road from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The two left turn lanes will remain open to allow for through traffic. All lanes will reopen as soon as July 31.

Motorists are also advised of an additional closure of the I-4 westbound entrance ramp from John Young Parkway (State Road 423), which will close nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. through July 2024. This closure will include a detour route as follows:

• Motorists traveling northbound on John Young Parkway should go under the I-4 overpass and make a left turn onto LB McLeod Road; left turn onto Vineland Road; left turn onto Conroy Road; and follow signage to I-4 westbound from Conroy Road.

• Motorists traveling southbound on John Young Parkway should turn right onto westbound LB McLeod Road, turn left onto southbound Vineland Road, turn left onto westbound Conroy Road; and follow signage to I-4 westbound from Conroy Road.

Other nightly closures include two lanes on westbound and eastbound I-4 near Conroy Road (Exit 78) in Orlando from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. through July 2024.

Monday, July 1, through Friday, August 2, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.: There will be daily intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures on SR 551 (Goldenrod Rd) from SR 408 to SR 50 (Colonial Dr). Crews will be working on the construction of the median.

Please drive with caution and stay alert for the safety of crews and other motorists. 

Monday, July 1, through Friday, August 2, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.: There will be single lane closures along the northbound and southbound outside lanes on SR 436 from north of Old Cheney Highway to north of University Park Drive. Crews will be working on the construction of traffic separators.

Sunday, July 7, through Saturday, August 31 (except Mondays), from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Motorists should expect northbound and southbound intermittent lane closures on S.R. 471 from S.R. 50 to C.R. 478 for clearing, loading/unloading, and paving activities. Please reduce your speed, heed posted signage, and exercise caution throughout the work zone.

Sunday, July 7, through Saturday, August 31, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Motorists should expect daytime eastbound and westbound intermittent lane closures on S.R. 50 from west of Boogy Road to C.R. 739 for roadway widening, paving operations, and other activities. Please reduce your speed and exercise caution in the work zone.

Monday, July 22, to Friday, July 26 from 8 pm to 4 am

Motorists can expect an outside lane closure southbound along U.S. 1 and South of Pineda Causeway and Madrid Drive.

Closure is needed for installation of low-profile barrier.

Please proceed with caution in construction zones.

Starting Thursday night, June 27 until further notice: There will be a shift in the traffic pattern on SR 426 (Broadway St) from Pine Ave to Adeline B Tinsley Way. This will eventually lead into the final configuration for Broadway St, with the four-lane roadway divided by a raised median.

New Temporary Traffic Pattern: Eastbound traffic will remain on the southernmost outside lane. Westbound traffic will be shifted to the newly paved northernmost outside lane. Please follow roadway signage while navigating the work zone.

Crews will be focusing operations on median work- please drive with caution and stay alert for the safety of workers and other motorists.

The I-95 northbound weigh station in Flagler County is currently closed to truck traffic.

Tuesday, July 30, from 9 a.m, to 3 p.m., single alternating lane closures on the eastbound and westbound lanes of the State Road 44 Bridge over the St. Johns River for bridge joint work.

Old New York Avenue (County Road 4110) under the new bridge structure near Shady Oak Restaurant and Captain Jed's Airboat Rides is closed. This closure is necessary to facilitate the reconstruction of the roadway underneath the new State Road 44 Bridge. During this period, a detour will be in place to guide motorists to their destinations. Drivers will be directed by video message boards and other signage to follow the designated detour route as follows:

DETOUR: Motorists wishing to access local residences and businesses along Old New York Avenue (County Road 4110) under the bridge will be detoured down New York Avenue (S.R. 44) and South Shell Road by signage.

The construction schedule is subject to change pending weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Please follow posted signage, avoid distractions, and allow extra travel time to reach your destination.

The Barracuda Bridge is closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

Barracuda Boulevard, including the Barracuda Bridge, is closed from The Middle Way to Quay Assisi in New Smyrna Beach, Volusia County. This stretch of Barracuda Boulevard will remain closed until project completion, which is estimated to be Summer 2024. Motorists and pedestrians wishing to access the Marine Discovery Center and properties on Quay Assisi and adjacent side streets will be directed through a temporary detour route along Quay Assisi and North Causeway.

Watercraft access will be maintained during construction of the new Barracuda Bridge. However, there will be brief instances in which marine traffic access will be limited in the work zone for safety purposes. During these short closures, boaters are encouraged to use the channel below North Causeway to access Indian River North.

Ongoing Closures to be expected along the existing NASA Causeway

Motorists can expect lane closures along the NASA Causeway. Traffic will be diverted to the available lanes. 

This closure is needed to facilitate construction of the new bridge.
