Sunday, December 21, through Tuesday, December 23, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists should expect northbound and southbound alternating inside and outside single lane closures on S.R. 535 from US 192 to south of International Drive for striping. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

Motorists are advised that a continuous closure will be implemented on the State Road (S.R. 401) western movable bridge from southbound S.R. 401 to westbound S.R. 528 beginning today, Friday, Dec. 12. The closure is expected to remain in place through January 2026.

Southbound S.R. 401 traffic wishing to travel to westbound S.R. 528 will be directed to the middle bridge on S.R. 401 and use the access road on the west side of S.R. 401 to exit to Westbound S.R. 528 Ramp.

The closure is necessary for the rehabilitation of the movable bridge, including replacing its protective paint layers and mechanical equipment. The other two bridges will remain open to accommodate both northbound and southbound traffic. Marine traffic may cause the bridges to close temporarily.

FDOT encourages motorists to use caution, remain alert, and follow posted detour signs through the work zone.

Drivers can expect a single-lane closure on northbound S.R. A1A, with flagging operations to maintain traffic in both directions from near south of Sunrise Avenue to Marlin Drive for sand placement activities. Lane closures should be expected from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.  

Drivers can expect an intermittent single-lane closure on northbound S.R. A1A, with flagging operations to maintain traffic in both directions from 1.5 miles south of the Flagler County line to Club House Drive in Flagler Beach. Intermittent lane closures can be expected Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 19 to Wednesday, Dec. 23 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists can expect alternating inside and outside single lane closures on northbound and southbound State Road (S.R.) A1A from International Speedway Boulevard (U.S. 92) to Milsap Road for concrete removal and pouring, clearing and grubbing, and midblock construction.

FDOT contractors will be closing the inside lanes of both northbound and southbound U.S. 441 to begin construction of a median barrier wall for the extension of the northbound dual left turning lanes to State Road (S.R.) 44. These lanes will be closed until next month.

Northbound U.S. 441: The inside lane will be closed from Michigan Avenue to where the current dual left-turn lanes to S.R. 44 begin.

Southbound U.S. 441: The inside lane will be closed from S.R. 44 to near Nichols Drive.

Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 28: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will shift northbound and southbound traffic on State Road (S.R.) A1A between Brooks Drive and North Wedgewood Circle in Ormond Beach to continue construction operations as part of the ongoing safety and resurfacing project.

This transition is expected to begin as early as Tuesday, Oct. 28, and remain in place for two months pending inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

The speed limit of 30 mph throughout the corridor will be maintained. Signage and barrels will be in place to guide motorists through the work zone.

FDOT advises motorists to reduce speed, follow posted signage, and exercise extra caution in the work zone.

Beginning Sunday, Oct. 5, from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists are advised that there will be northbound double lane closures on I-75 from County Road (C.R.) 462 to C.R. 484 for deep milling and paving. The closures will be recurring weekly Sundays through Thursdays through 2026.
