Beginning Thursday, August 28, ongoing: Motorists should expect a northbound lane adjustment at Orange Avenue and New Hampshire Avenue. Friday, August 29, through Thursday, September 4, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists can expect northbound and southbound inside and outside lane closures on Conway Rd. (SR-15) from Devonshire Lane to Lake Underhill Rd. for striping work and pavement marking on the bike lanes and mainline Conway Road.

Beginning Monday, July 21: Motorists can expect an outside single lane closure on northbound State Road (S.R.) A1A at the intersection of S.R. A1A and Harvey Avenue for paver removal.

Motorists are advised that the eastern movable bridge that connects westbound State Road (S.R.) 528 to northbound S.R. 401 will be closed continuously beginning as early as Wednesday, July 9. This closure is expected to remain in place through September 2025.

Motorists traveling westbound on S.R. 528 who wish to access northbound S.R. 401 should follow signage to the middle bridge, which will revert to regular northbound traffic after crossing.

Southbound S.R. 401 traffic from the middle bridge will remain shifted to the western bridge. Therefore, motorists traveling southbound on S.R. 401 who wish to access eastbound S.R. 528 should follow signage to the westernmost bridge and then use the access road on the east side to reach the eastbound S.R. 528 on ramp.

The closure is necessary for the rehabilitation of the bascule bridge, including the replacement of the coating system and machinery. The other two bridges will remain open to accommodate both northbound and southbound traffic. Marine traffic may cause the bridges to close temporarily.

Motorists are advised that construction activities are underway along the southbound lanes of Ocean Shore Boulevard between East Granada Boulevard and Standish Drive. This work requires temporary lane closures and detours to safely accommodate drainage improvements, curb and gutter installation, and pedestrian enhancement operations. Beginning as early as Monday, July 14, the southbound lanes of Ocean Shore Boulevard between Standish Drive and Amsden Road will be closed for approximately three months. This is the last of three non-concurrent detour segments.

• Segment 1: The southbound lanes of Ocean Shore Boulevard will be closed between Neptune Avenue and East Granada Boulevard for approximately two months. Please note that the detour will be temporarily lifted for Daytona Bike Week and Spring Break from Friday, Feb. 28 through Sunday, Mar. 23. Construction activities will take place in the shoulder behind barrels. Roadway construction activities and the detour will resume on Monday, Mar. 24.
  • Detour information: Motorists traveling south on Ocean Shore Boulevard wishing to reach East Granada Boulevard will turn right on Neptune Avenue, turn left on North Halifax Drive, and then continue south to East Granada Boulevard. This segment is complete.
• Segment 2: The southbound lanes of Ocean Shore Boulevard will be closed between Amsden Road and Neptune Avenue for approximately three months. This closure will be in place starting as soon as Wednesday, April 30.
  • Detour information: Motorists traveling south on Ocean Shore Boulevard will be directed to turn right on to Amsden Road, turn left onto North Halifax Drive, and then continue south to East Granada Boulevard. From there, motorists can turn left to return to Ocean Shore Boulevard. Daytime flagging operations will be in place at the intersection of Amsden Road and Halifax Drive to facilitate traffic flow. This segment is complete.
• Segment 3: The southbound lanes of Ocean Shore Boulevard will be closed between Standish Drive and Amsden Road for approximately three months. This closure will be in place starting as soon as Monday, July 14. Please note that the detour will be temporarily lifted for Labor Day weekend from Friday, Aug. 29 through Monday, Sept. 1. Roadway construction activities and the detour will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
  • Detour information: Motorists traveling south on Ocean Shore Boulevard wishing to reach East Granada Boulevard will turn right on Standish Drive, turn left on North Halifax Drive, and then continue south to East Granada Boulevard.
