About

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is resurfacing Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) from Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441) to South Orange Avenue (S.R. 527) in Orlando.

Pedestrian curb ramps will be upgraded as needed to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The project will also update pavement markings and signage to improve visibility and overall roadway safety

  • Sunday, May 18, through Thursday, May 21, from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists can expect nighttime westbound and eastbound intermittent lane closures on Sandlake Road from Orange Blossom Trail to Orange Avenue for curb and sidewalk work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.
