About

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is resurfacing Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) from Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441) to South Orange Avenue (S.R. 527) in Orlando.

Pedestrian curb ramps will be upgraded as needed to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The project will also update pavement markings and signage to improve visibility and overall roadway safety

  • Sunday, August 9, through Thursday, August 13, from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists can expect intermittent nighttime lane closures on Sand Lake Road from Orange Blossom Trail to Orange Avenue for signal and shoulder work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.
