Project Details
About
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is resurfacing approximately 9.7 miles of northbound and southbound Interstate 95 (I-95) from south of State Road (S.R.) 50 to S.R. 46 in Titusville and Mims. The project also includes resurfacing the I-95 ramps at the S.R. 50, S.R. 406 and S.R. 46 interchanges.
The northbound I-95 exit ramp to S.R. 46 will be widened to extend the existing right turn lane, facilitating smoother traffic flow. Additional improvements include upgraded ramp lighting, refreshed roadway signs and pavement markings, as well as enhanced traffic management technology to improve safety and travel through the area.

Lane Closures

Sunday, July 26 through Thursday, July 30, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists can expect single and double lane closures on southbound and northbound I-95 from S.R. 46 (Exit 223) to S.R. 50 (Exit 215) and from I-95 northbound to Addison Canal.
These closures are needed for paving activities.
FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk and ride with caution and courtesy!

Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Motorists can expect a right shoulder closure on the northbound I-95 exit ramp to S.R. 46 (Exit 223). All exits will remain open at all times.
These closures are needed for ramp widening work and restoration. The ramp will be temporarily reduced to 11 ft wide as this work takes place.

Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Motorists can expect a shoulder closure on southbound and northbound I-95 from S.R. 46 (Exit 223) to S.R. 50 (Exit 215).
These closures are needed for guardrail and ditch pavement work.

Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Garden Street (State Road (S.R.) 406)
Tuesday, July 28: The off-ramp from northbound I-95 to Garden Street (Exit 220) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Wednesday, July 29.
- Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access Garden Street (Exit 220) should continue north on I-95 and exit at West Main Street (S.R. 46) (Exit 223). From there, turn left onto westbound West Main Street, immediately re-enter southbound I-95, and proceed to Garden Street (Exit 220).
Wednesday, July 29: The on-ramp from Garden Street to northbound I-95 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Thursday, July 30.
- Motorists traveling on Garden Street who wish to access northbound I-95 should enter southbound I-95 from Garden Street and travel south to exit at Cheney Highway (S.R. 50) (Exit 215). From there, turn left onto eastbound Cheney Highway, immediately re-enter northbound I-95, and proceed north.
