Planned improvements include adding a midblock pedestrian crossing north of Barbara Jenkins Street. The crossing would include a median refuge area and be equipped with pedestrian activated signals.

The project also proposes to widen the northbound right turn lane to accommodate a bicycle through lane at Stone Street. Upgrades to existing traffic signals and pedestrian crossings are also proposed.
