About

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is planning safety improvements at the intersection of SW State Road (S.R.) 200 (SW College Road) and SW 60th Avenue in unincorporated Marion County, just southwest of the City of Ocala.

The proposed concept would add a second span wire to accommodate more traffic signals and allow each travel lane on S.R. 200 to have a dedicated signal.  Additionally, the signals would be upgraded with reflective backplates that make the signals easier to see. Enhanced intersection lighting is planned, as well as refreshed signing and pavement markings.
