Sunday, April 14, through Friday, April 19, from 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. nightly, single lane closures on northbound and southbound S.R. 415 from S.R. 44 to Acorn Lake Road for paving operations. The contractor will be utilizing flagging operations to guide traffic around the lane closures.

Monday, April 15, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, the North Causeway (State Road 44) Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic to install hydraulic cylinders within the bridge. A detour will be in place and traffic will be guided to the adjacent South Causeway.

Monday, April 8, the contractor will conduct nighttime moving operations along S.R. A1A from south of Camino Del Rey Parkway to north of Armand Beach Drive in Palm Coast for rumble strip installation.

Tuesday, April 9, through Thursday, April 11, the contractor will conduct nighttime operations along U.S. 1 (S.R. 5) from the Volusia/Flagler County Line to north of West Street in Ormond Beach and from south of Harbor Road in Port Orange to north of Lagoon Avenue in Oak Hill for rumble strip installation.

Wednesday, April 10, the contractor will conduct nighttime operations along S.R. 5A (S. Nova Road) from north of Cedar Street to Reed Canal Road in Daytona Beach for rumble strip installation.

Friday, April 12, the contractor will conduct nighttime operations along S.R. 44 from east of Oliver Drive in New Smyrna Beach to east of Old New York Avenue in DeLand for rumble strip installation.

Saturday, April 13, the contractor will conduct nighttime operations along S.R. 415 from east of the Seminole/Volusia County Line to west of Reed Ellis Road in Osteen for rumble strip installation.

Saturday, April 13, Tuesday, April 16, and Wednesday, April 17, the contractor will conduct nighttime operations along S.R. 11 from the Volusia/Flagler County Line to south of Center Drive in DeLand for rumble strip installation.

Wednesday, April 17, the contractor will conduct nighttime operations along U.S. 17 from north of Palmetto Avenue E. in Pierson to S.R. 11 in DeLand for rumble strip installation.

Starting April 5, 2024, the entrance to Ed Stone Park from New York Avenue (State Road (S.R.) 44) will be closed for approximately one month. This closure is necessary to facilitate the construction of the new access road to Ed Stone Park, St. John's Marina, and St. John's River Grill from New York Avenue (S.R. 44). During this period, a detour will be in place to guide motorists to their destinations. Drivers will be directed by video message boards and other signage to follow the designated detour route as follows:

DETOUR: Motorists wishing to access Ed Stone Park or adjacent properties from New York Avenue (S.R. 44) will be directed to take South Shell Road until they reach Old New York Avenue (County Road (C.R.) 4110). Motorists will then continue on Old New York Avenue (C.R. 4110) and travel under the S.R. 44 bridge to access Ed Stone Park, St. John's Marina, and St. John's River Grill.

The construction schedule is subject to change pending weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Please follow posted signage, avoid distractions, and allow extra travel time to reach your destination.

Starting Monday, March 25, the travel lanes on US 17 from SR 15A to south of Spring Street will be reduced to one outside lane in each direction from north of Retta Street to north of Berlins Street for traffic separator construction. The median crossover at Reynolds Road/Wheeler Street will remain open during this work.

The Barracuda Bridge is closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

Barracuda Boulevard, including the Barracuda Bridge, is closed from The Middle Way to Quay Assisi in New Smyrna Beach, Volusia County. This stretch of Barracuda Boulevard will remain closed until project completion, which is estimated to be Summer 2024. Motorists and pedestrians wishing to access the Marine Discovery Center and properties on Quay Assisi and adjacent side streets will be directed through a temporary detour route along Quay Assisi and North Causeway.

Watercraft access will be maintained during construction of the new Barracuda Bridge. However, there will be brief instances in which marine traffic access will be limited in the work zone for safety purposes. During these short closures, boaters are encouraged to use the channel below North Causeway to access Indian River North.
