437983-1 S.R. 524 PD&E Study

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) conducted a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study to evaluate improvements to State Road (S.R.) 524 from Friday Road (south) to Industry Road in Brevard County, a project length of approximately 3.15 miles.  The purpose of this study was to evaluate alternatives to improve roadway capacity, safety, and enhance opportunities to include bicycle and pedestrian facilities.  The PD&E Study was approved in May 2026, and this project will now proceed to the next phase of development.
