Motorists, please be advised that a traffic pacing operation will take place on Interstate 95 (I-95) for the I-95 at Pioneer Trail Interchange project. The pacing operation will occur on northbound I-95 at 10 p.m. on Monday, February 16. The operation is to support ongoing construction activities to relocate pile-driving equipment.

When: Monday, February 16, 2026
Time: Beginning at 10 p.m.
Where: Northbound I-95 at exit 244 for State Road 442/Edgewater
Traffic Impacts:
- 15-minute pacing interval
Northbound lanes only
Florida Highway Patrol officers will be on site during both operations to assist with traffic control.
Motorists should anticipate brief delays and exercise caution while traveling through the area during this time.

Monday, Feb. 16 to Friday, Feb. 20 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists can expect alternating single lane closures with flagging operations on northbound and southbound State Road (S.R.) A1A from to Brooks Drive Hibiscus Drive for paving operations, drainage installation, roadway widening, and sidewalk construction.

Beginning Wednesday, February 18:The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will shift northbound and southbound traffic on State Road (S.R.) A1A between Brooks Drive and Hibiscus Drive in Ormond Beach to continue construction operations as part of the ongoing safety and resurfacing project.
This transition is expected to begin as early as Wednesday, February 18, and remain in place for two months pending inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
The speed limit of 30 mph throughout the corridor will be maintained. Signage and barrels will be in place to guide motorists through the work zone.
FDOT advises motorists to reduce speed, follow posted signage, and exercise extra caution in the work zone.
