View project: S.R. 408 eastbound to I-4 eastbound Loop Ramp

• Sunday, June 7, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement overnight closures of the eastbound State Road (S.R.) 408 exit ramp to eastbound Interstate 4 (I‑4) at Exit 10B. These closures are necessary for the installation of permanent signage.

  Detour Information:

  Motorists traveling eastbound on S.R. 408 who wish to access eastbound I‑4 will be directed to take Exit 10A toward westbound I‑4, continue to Exit 81 (Michigan Street), turn left onto West Michigan Street, and follow posted signage to access eastbound I‑4.

  FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy!

• Wednesday, June 10 through Thursday, June 11, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement overnight closures of the eastbound State Road (S.R.) 408 exit ramp to eastbound Interstate 4 (I‑4) at Exit 10B. These closures are necessary for the installation of permanent signage.

• Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing overnight closures on eastbound I-4 Express from Monday, June 1, through Thursday, July 30, for joint repairs.

  Crews will close eastbound I-4 Express in segments starting near Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) to its ending point near E.E. Williamson Road, continuing north as work is completed.

  The closures will begin as early as 10 p.m. each night and are expected to end by 5 a.m. each morning, with the final closure ending the morning of Friday, July 31. These closures will take place nightly, except for Independence Day, Saturday, July 4.

  During these closures, motorists can continue through the area using the eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) general use lanes. Motorists who wish to use eastbound I-4 Express will be directed to enter or exit eastbound I-4 Express at designated locations as work progresses.

  FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

• Sunday, May 31 to Thursday, June 4, from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect intermittent single- lane closures in the inside lanes of eastbound and westbound S.R. 423 (Lee Road) between Kingswood Drive and Adanson Street. These closures are necessary for crews to perform concrete removal and clearing and grubbing work.

  FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk and ride with caution and courtesy!

• Sunday, May 31 to Thursday, June 4, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect alternating single- and double-lane closures in both directions of S.R. 436, between South Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441), and the Seminole County Line. Closures will shift between the inside and outside lanes as crews perform milling and resurfacing work.

• The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing overnight closures of the eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) entrance ramp from northbound Apopka-Vineland Road (State Road (S.R.) 535) from Sunday, May 31, through Thursday, June 4. The closures will begin as early as 10 p.m. each night and are expected to end by 6 a.m. each morning, with the final closure ending the morning of Friday, June 5.

  These closures are necessary to lengthen the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp from northbound Apopka-Vineland Road.

  Eastbound I-4 entrance ramp from northbound Apopka-Vineland Road detour (south of I-4):

  From northbound Apopka-Vineland Road south of I-4, motorists will turn right onto eastbound Vineland Avenue and proceed east toward International Drive. From there, turn left onto International Drive, then turn left again onto Daryl Carter Parkway. Turn right onto the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp from Daryl Carter Parkway.

• Sunday, June 7, through Friday, June 12, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists should expect northbound single-lane closures on Orange Blossom Trail from Cinderlane Parkway to Rose Avenue for directional boring and signalization work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Sunday, May 31, through Friday, June 5, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists should expect eastbound single lane closures on Clarcona Ocoee Road from Journal Avenue to U.S. 441 for installation work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Motorists should expect southbound single lane closures on North Pine Hills Road from Clarcona Ocoee Road to Beggs Road for sidewalk work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Motorists should expect northbound single lane closures on U.S. 441 from S.R. 414 to Beggs Road for trail work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Beginning April 30, continuous: Motorists can expect a traffic shift on U.S. 441 north of Beggs Road for trail work.

• The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement overnight closures of all lanes of Central Florida Parkway under Interstate 4 (I-4) on Monday, June 1, to Friday, June 5. The closures will start as early as 12:30 a.m. and end by 5:30 a.m. each morning. The first closure is scheduled to begin at 12:30 a.m. on Monday, June 1.

  During these closures, motorists exiting eastbound I-4 to Central Florida Parkway at Exit 71 will be limited to right turns only.

  These closures are necessary for overhead bridge work at Central Florida Parkway as part of the ongoing I-4 and Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) interchange improvement project.

  To access Central Florida Parkway east of I-4:

  • From southbound Palm Parkway, turn left onto eastbound Daryl Carter Parkway. From there, turn left onto northbound International Drive, then turn left again onto Westwood Boulevard, continuing north to access Central Florida Parkway.
  • From Daryl Carter Parkway, take the entrance ramp to eastbound I-4, then take Exit 71 to access Central Florida Parkway.

   

  To access Central Florida Parkway west of I-4:

  • From Central Florida Parkway east of I-4, turn onto southbound Westwood Boulevard. From there, turn right onto International Drive, heading southwest before turning right again onto westbound Daryl Carter Parkway. From there, turn right on northbound Palm Parkway to access Central Florida Parkway.
  • From eastbound I-4, take Exit 71 and stay in the right lane, turn right onto eastbound Central Florida Parkway. Then turn right onto southbound Westwood Boulevard and follow the same route as above.
