View project: S.R. 423 from Kingswood Drive to Adanson Street

• Sunday, October 11 to Friday, October 16, from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect intermittent single- and double-lane closures in the outside and center lanes of eastbound and westbound S.R. 423 (Lee Road) between Kingswood Drive and Adanson Street. These closures are necessary for crews to perform directional bores and sidewalk and curb work.

• Sunday, October 11 to Thursday, October 15, from 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect intermittent alternating single-lane closures in the inside and outside lanes of eastbound and westbound S.R. 426 between Park Avenue and Lakemont Avenue. These closures are necessary for crews to safely perform signal and concrete work near South Interlachen Avenue, Trismen Terrace, Fletcher Place, and Trismen Park.

• Monday, October 12, through Friday, October 16, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Motorists should expect single-lane closures on westbound Beggs Road from Pine Hills Road to the U.S. 441 Bridge for sidewalk installation. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Monday, October 12, through Friday, October 16, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Motorists should expect single-lane closures on northbound U.S. 441 from S.R. 414 to Beggs Road for sidewalk work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Sunday, October 11, through Thursday, October 15, from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists can expect intermittent nighttime single- and double-lane closures and flagging operations on Sand Lake Road from Orange Blossom Trail to Orange Avenue for milling, resurfacing, and marking work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will close the westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) entrance ramp from Apopka-Vineland Road (State Road (S.R.) 535) overnight on Monday, October 12. This closure will begin as early as 10 p.m. and is expected to end by 6 a.m. the following morning, Tuesday, October 13. 

  This closure is necessary for barrier wall work.

  Detour for Westbound I-4 Entrance Ramp from Apopka-Vineland Road

  Motorists will head south on Apopka-Vineland Road, turn right onto westbound World Center Drive (S.R. 536), then take the loop ramp on the right to access westbound I-4. 

  FDOT advises motorists to follow all pavement markings and posted signs. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
