• Sunday, July 19, through Friday, July 24, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists should expect eastbound single-lane closures on Clarcona Ocoee Road from Journal Avenue to U.S. 441 for paving work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Sunday, July 19, through Friday, July 24, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists should expect northbound single-lane closures on Orange Blossom Trail from Cinderlane Parkway to Rose Avenue for drilling work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy

• Saturday, July 18, from 6 a.m. through Monday, July 20, at 6 a.m., 24 hours: Northbound motorists should expect a right-turn lane closure onto eastbound Clarcona-Ocoee Road for truck apron construction and widening work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

  Motorists traveling northbound on U.S. 441 who wish to access eastbound Clarcona Ocoee Road will be directed to take either All American Boulevard or Mott Avenue, continue onto Edgewater Drive, then turn onto Clarcona Ocoee Road.

• Monday, July 13 to Friday, July 17, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect alternating single-lane closures in both directions of S.R. 436, between South Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441), and the Seminole County Line. These closures are necessary for crews to install signal loops at the intersections with Sheeler Avenue, South Thompson Avenue, Semoran Commerce/McVilla Avenue, and Piedmont Wekiwa Road/Wekiwa Springs Road.

• Sunday, July 12, through Thursday, July 16, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement overnight closures of the eastbound State Road (S.R.) 408 exit ramp to eastbound Interstate 4 (I‑4) at Exit 10B. These closures are necessary for striping.
   

  Detour Information:

  Motorists traveling eastbound on S.R. 408 who wish to access eastbound I‑4 will be directed to take Exit 10A toward westbound I‑4, continue to Exit 81 (Michigan Street), turn left onto West Michigan Street, and follow posted signage to access eastbound I‑4.

  FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy!

• Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing overnight closures on eastbound I-4 Express from Monday, June 1, through Thursday, July 30, for joint repairs.

  Crews will close eastbound I-4 Express in segments starting near Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) to its ending point near E.E. Williamson Road, continuing north as work is completed.

  The closures will begin as early as 10 p.m. each night and are expected to end by 5 a.m. each morning, with the final closure ending the morning of Friday, July 31. These closures will take place nightly, except for Independence Day, Saturday, July 4.

  During these closures, motorists can continue through the area using the eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) general use lanes. Motorists who wish to use eastbound I-4 Express will be directed to enter or exit eastbound I-4 Express at designated locations as work progresses.

  FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

• The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement an intermittent overnight closure of the northbound Turkey Lake Road through lanes at the Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) and Turkey Lake Road intersection on Monday, July 13. The closure is scheduled to begin as early as 11 p.m. and is expected to end by 6 a.m. the following morning, Tuesday, July 14.

  NOTE: If work is not completed on the night of Monday, July 13, then Tuesday, July 14, will serve as the backup date.

  The right turn to eastbound Sand Lake Road will remain open during this closure. Detours will be in place and signage will guide drivers around the work zone. Motorists should follow all posted signs, plan for extra travel time, and consider alternative routes.

  These closures are necessary for force main installation at the Sand Lake Road and Turkey Lake Road intersection as part of the Interstate 4 (I-4) and Sand Lake Road interchange improvement project.

  Detour: Northbound Turkey Lake Road at the Sand Lake Road Intersection

  From northbound Turkey Lake Road, turn left onto westbound Sand Lake Road. From there, turn right onto northbound Dr. Phillips Boulevard, then turn right again onto eastbound Wallace Road and proceed to Turkey Lake Road.

• The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement an overnight closure of the eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) entrance ramp from Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R) 482) on Tuesday, July 14. The ramp closure is scheduled to begin as early as 10 p.m. and end by 6 a.m. the following morning. In addition, the first entrance point of eastbound I-4 Express near Sand Lake Road will be closed from 1 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. the same night. Both closures are expected to end the morning of Wednesday, July 15.

  These closures are necessary to shift eastbound I-4 traffic about five feet to the right for barrier wall installation in the median of I-4.

  NOTE: If this work is not completed on the night of Tuesday, July 14, the nights of Wednesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 16 will serve as backup dates for this work.

  Detour for Eastbound I-4 Entrance Ramp from Sand Lake Road

  • During the ramp closure, motorists west of I-4 on Sand Lake Road can head north on Turkey Lake Road, turn right onto eastbound Hollywood Way, and then turn right onto southbound Universal Boulevard to access eastbound I-4.
  • Motorists east of I-4 on Sand Lake Road who wish to access eastbound I-4 should head north onto International Drive and turn left onto northbound Universal Boulevard, then proceed to the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp.

  Detour for Eastbound I-4 Express

  Motorists traveling on eastbound I-4 who wish to access I-4 Express will enter at the express lane entrance just west of Exit 79 to John Young Parkway (S.R. 423).

• The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will intermittently close left-turn lanes at the intersection of Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) and Turkey Lake Road beginning as early as Sunday, June 28. The closures are scheduled to begin at 11 p.m. each night and are expected to end by 6 a.m. the following morning.

  Closures will occur intermittently and will vary by night based on construction activities. Multiple left-turn movements may be restricted at the same time.

  The closures are scheduled for the following nights:

  • Sunday, June 28, through Wednesday, July 1
  • Monday, July 6, through Thursday, July 9
  • Sunday, July 12, through Thursday, July 16

  The final closure is expected to end the morning of Friday, July 17.
