A1A from to Brooks Drive Hibiscus Drive for paving operations, drainage installation, roadway widening, and sidewalk construction.

Beginning Wednesday, February 18:The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will shift northbound and southbound traffic on State Road (S.R.) A1A between Brooks Drive and Hibiscus Drive in Ormond Beach to continue construction operations as part of the ongoing safety and resurfacing project.

This transition is expected to begin as early as Wednesday, February 18, and remain in place for two months pending inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

The speed limit of 30 mph throughout the corridor will be maintained. Signage and barrels will be in place to guide motorists through the work zone.

FDOT advises motorists to reduce speed, follow posted signage, and exercise extra caution in the work zone.

Sunday, Feb. 15 to Friday, Feb. 20 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists can expect alternating inside and outside single lane closures on northbound and southbound State Road (S.R.) A1A from International Speedway Boulevard (U.S. 92) to Oakridge Boulevard for signalization, paving operations, striping operations, and installing signage.

FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk and ride with caution and courtesy!

Drivers can expect single-lane closures on northbound S.R. A1A, with flagging operations to maintain traffic in both directions from near south of Sunrise Avenue to Marlin Drive for sand fence and landscaping installation. Lane closures should be expected from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
