About

This project is intended to improve operations along U.S. 441 (State Road (S.R.) 25) from Avenue I to the Alachua County line (south of NW 230th Street). Proposed improvements include resurfacing this 3.1-mile segment of U.S. 441 to extend the life of the existing roadway. The project also plans to relocate the signal poles for the flashing beacon at Avenue G.

This project is expected to be constructed with 448635-1, a resurfacing project on U.S. 441 from north of County Road (C.R.) 25A to Avenue I.

Lane Closures
  • Sunday, Nov. 2, through Friday, Nov. 7, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists are advised of northbound and southbound single lane closures on U.S. 441 (State Road 25) between Northwest Gainesville Road and the Alachua County line for drainage work, asphalt paving and ditch grading and excavation. 

    Lane closures are subject to change due to unforeseen events and weather conditions.
