About

The purpose of this project is to resurface a 3.1-mile segment U.S. 441 (State Road (S.R.) 25) from north of County Road (C.R.) 25A to Avenue I. To enhance safety, the project will add inside paved shoulders and provide paved turnouts and aprons along the corridor.

Drainage improvements and upgrades to the signalized intersection at C.R. 318 are included.

This project is expected to be constructed with project 445218-1, a resurfacing project on U.S. 441 from Avenue I to the Alachua County line.

Lane Closures
  • Sunday, Nov. 2, through Friday, Nov. 7, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists are advised of northbound and southbound single lane closures on U.S. 441 (State Road 25) between Northwest Gainesville Road and the Alachua County line for drainage work, asphalt paving and ditch grading and excavation. 

    Lane closures are subject to change due to unforeseen events and weather conditions.
