This project plans to resurface a segment of State Road (S.R.) 33 (also County Road (C.R.) 33) from the Polk County line to west of Bluff Lake Road (S.R. 33/C.R. 33). Through parts of Groveland and Mascotte, S.R. 33 is also S.R. 50. The project is needed to maintain the roadway and to enhance safety by providing an improved driving surface and refreshed pavement markings. The project will also reconstruct sidewalk curb ramps as needed to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards for pedestrian safety.

There is an exception to the project limits in Groveland along sections of West Broad Street and West Orange Street. There is also an exception to either side of Groveland Airport Road.
