452643-1 S.R. 100 from Putnam County Line to west of U.S. 1

The purpose of this project is to resurface State Road (S.R.) 100 from the Putnam County line to west of U.S. 1 in Flagler County. The project also proposes to improve the connection of Deen Road to S.R. 100. Other proposed improvements include:

• Evaluating existing guardrails to ensure they meet current safety standards. Guardrails will be reset or replaced where needed.
• Adding audible vibratory pavement markings along the shoulders and centerline to reduce lane departures and crossover crashes.
• Installing intersection lighting on S.R. 100 to improve visibility at the intersections of Water Oak Road, County Road (C.R.) 305, C.R. 302, and Deen Road.

A separate project is being planned to improve drainage along the corridor just west of the U.S. 1 overpass.
