This is the second of three segments to complete resurfacing and safety improvements along Clyde Morris Boulevard (State Road (S.R.) 483) from Beville Road (S.R. 400) to Mason Avenue in Daytona Beach. This project will resurface Clyde Morris Boulevard from Aviation Parkway/Bellevue Avenue to Richard Petty Boulevard and from International Speedway Boulevard (U.S. 92) to Mason Avenue.

In addition to repaving the roadway, the project will add raised medians, construct a 14-foot-wide shared-use path along the west side of the road and an 8-foot-wide sidewalk on the east side of the road, reconstruct and upgrade traffic signals and make drainage improvements. This segment also includes construction of a new pedestrian tunnel north of the main entrance to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU).

The remaining work along Clyde Morris will be performed under project numbers 448773-2 and 448773-4.
