About

The purpose of this project is to resurface Interstate 75 ( I-75) from the Sumter County line to State Road (S.R.) 200. In addition, the existing median crossovers will be reconstructed, the guardrail will be updated and added where necessary, and minor drainage work will take place.

Lane Closures
  • Lane/Shoulder Closures - Sunday, June 9, through Thursday, June 20, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly: Motorists should expect overnight northbound and southbound lane closures on Interstate 75 (I-75) from the Sumter County line to S.R. 200 for milling, paving, and median grade improvements. Inside northbound and southbound shoulder closures will be in effect between C.R. 484 and S.R. 200 for attenuator placement.

    For safety, please reduce your speed, alertly merge into an open lane and cautiously bypass the construction zone.

  • Median Crossover Closures - Sunday, June 9, through Thursday, June 20, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly: Expect shoulder closures along I-75 at one or more of the following median crossover locations. The crossovers will be unavailable 24 hours per day until improvements are complete.
