439040-1 S.R. 434 at C.R. 427 Intersection Improvements

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is improving operations at the intersection of State Road (S.R.) 434 and County Road (C.R.) 427 (Ronald Reagan Boulevard) by including additional turn lanes. The project begins at South Milwee Street and extends to just west of South Oleander Street. The improvements are creating dual left-turn lanes for eastbound and westbound traffic on S.R. 434 to C.R. 427.

A new exclusive right turn lane is being added for the eastbound S.R. 434 traffic turning onto C.R. 427. The project also includes bike lanes on S.R. 434 from South Milwee Street to C.R. 427, as well as minor drainage, sidewalk, and signalization improvements.

This project was designed by Seminole County. Right of way was purchased by FDOT.  

The project is being constructed with the State Road 434 safety improvements project (443838-1).
