About

The purpose of this project is to make safety improvements on State Road (S.R.) 434 at the Rangeline Road, Grant Street and Wayman Street intersections. Planned improvements include sidewalk repairs and enhancements, reconstruction of curb ramps to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, and upgrades to pedestrian signals for improved accessibility and visibility. Additionally, the project plans improvements to make U-turns safer at the Wayman Street and Grant Street intersections.

The project will be constructed with the County Road 427 intersection improvements project (439040-1).

 

Get Involved

The FDOT will hold a project open house on Tuesday, August 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Longwood Community Building at 200 W. Warren Ave., Longwood, FL 32750. Attendees will have an opportunity to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members, and submit comments or questions.

To provide additional flexibility for stakeholders, the FDOT is also offering online opportunities to get involved:
