The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a project development and environment (PD&E) study to address capacity and safety issues on Babcock Street from south of Micco Road (Deer Run Road) to Malabar Road in Brevard County, a distance of approximately 9 miles.

 

The PD&E Study involves a combination of engineering analysis, environmental review and public involvement to evaluate options for widening Babcock Street from the current two-lane roadway to a four-lane roadway.
