|Work Type:||Traffic Study|
|Construction Cost:||$4.6 Million|
This study, from Sand Lake Road to Hoffner Avenue, had a multi-modal focus to enhance pedestrian and bicycle mobility and connectivity to the new Sand Lake Road SunRail station over the near term. Over the longer-term horizon, the project worked toward establishing a recommendation for the Orange Avenue corridor in conjunction with the planned Transit Oriented Development (TOD) surrounding the Sand Lake SunRail station.
This study was conducted in close coordination with Orange County and their consultant. Below are the reports prepared by both FDOT and Orange County. FDOT's study was completed in November 2014 and Orange County's study was completed in March 2015.
