About

The purpose of this project is to mill and resurface Orange Avenue (State Road (S.R.) 527) from Sand Lake Road (S.R. 482)/McCoy Road to Prince Street (where Orange Avenue splits into one-way pairs). This project will also include crosswalk realignment, reconstruction of a channelizing island at Sand Lake Road, sidewalk curb ramp improvements that comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, addition of new sidewalk for gap connectivity, minor drainage improvements, pedestrian signal upgrades, and the installation of sign and pavement markings.

The project length is more than 1 mile and is located south of downtown Orlando, in the unincorporated Pine Castle Community.
