Traffic Advisory: Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchanges, July 26-31
BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement the following overnight ramp closures on Interstate 95 (I-95) in Brevard County beginning as early as Sunday, July 26.
These closures are necessary to complete paving operations for the I-95 resurfacing projects.
The work schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
FDOT advises motorists to remain alert and follow all posted detour signs. Please see the attached detour maps for additional details.
Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Garden Street (State Road (S.R.) 406)
Tuesday, July 28: The off-ramp from northbound I-95 to Garden Street (Exit 220) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Wednesday, July 29.
· Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access Garden Street (Exit 220) should continue north on I-95 and exit at West Main Street (S.R. 46) (Exit 223). From there, turn left onto westbound West Main Street, immediately re-enter southbound I-95, and proceed to Garden Street (Exit 220).
Wednesday, July 29: The on-ramp from Garden Street to northbound I-95 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Thursday, July 30.
· Motorists traveling on Garden Street who wish to access northbound I-95 should enter southbound I-95 from Garden Street and travel south to exit at Cheney Highway (S.R. 50) (Exit 215). From there, turn left onto eastbound Cheney Highway, immediately re-enter northbound I-95, and proceed north.

Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Malabar Road (S.R.) 514
Sunday, July 26: The northbound I-95 off-ramp to Malabar Road (Exit 173) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Monday, July 27.
· Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access Malabar Road should continue north to Palm Bay Road (Exit 176). From there, turn left onto westbound Palm Bay Road and proceed to the southbound I-95 on-ramp. Travel south on I-95 to Malabar Road (Exit 173).
Monday, July 27: The northbound I-95 on-ramp from Malabar Road will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Tuesday, July 28.
- Motorists traveling eastbound on Malabar Road who wish to access northbound I-95 should turn left onto northbound Babcock Street (S.R. 507) from Malabar Road. From there, travel north to Palm Bay Road, turn left onto westbound Palm Bay Road, and proceed to the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
- Motorists traveling westbound on Malabar Road who wish to access northbound I-95 should turn right onto northbound Minton Road from Malabar Road. From there, travel north to Palm Bay Road, turn right onto eastbound Palm Bay Road, and proceed to the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Ellis Road
Sunday, July 26: The northbound I-95 off-ramp to Ellis Road (Exit 182) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Monday, July 27.
- Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access Ellis Road (Exit 182) should continue north and exit at Eau Gallie Boulevard (S.R. 518) (Exit 183). From there, turn left onto westbound Eau Gallie Boulevard and proceed to the southbound I-95 on-ramp. Then, travel south on I-95 and take the exit for Ellis Road (Exit 182).
Monday, July 27: The northbound I-95 on-ramp from Ellis Road will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Tuesday, July 28.
- Motorists traveling eastbound on Ellis Road who wish to access northbound I-95 should turn onto southbound John Rodes Boulevard from Ellis Road. From there, proceed south to U.S. 192, turn right onto westbound U.S. 192, and proceed to the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
- Motorists traveling westbound on Ellis Road who wish to access northbound I-95 should continue west as Ellis Road turns into St. Johns Heritage Parkway and veers to the south. From there, continue south to U.S. 192, turn left onto eastbound U.S. 192, and proceed to the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Palm Bay Road
Tuesday, July 28: The northbound I-95 off-ramp to Palm Bay Road (Exit 176) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Wednesday, July 29.
· Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access Palm Bay Road should continue north and exit at U.S. 192 (Exit 180). From there, turn left onto westbound U.S. 192 and proceed to the southbound I-95 on-ramp. Proceed south to Palm Bay Road (Exit 176).
Wednesday, July 29: The northbound I-95 on-ramp from Palm Bay Road will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Thursday, July 30.
- Motorists traveling eastbound on Palm Bay Road who wish to access northbound I-95 should turn onto northbound Hollywood Boulevard from Palm Bay Road. From there, turn left onto westbound U.S. 192 and proceed west to access the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
- Motorists traveling westbound on Palm Bay Road who wish to access northbound I-95 should turn onto northbound Minton Road from Palm Bay Road. From there, turn left onto westbound U.S. 192 and proceed west to access the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Eau Gallie Boulevard (S.R. 518)
Tuesday, July 28: The northbound I-95 off-ramp to Eau Gallie Boulevard (Exit 183) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Wednesday, July 29.
- Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access Eau Gallie Boulevard should take the prior exit ramp for Ellis Road (Exit 182), travel east on Ellis Road, turn left onto northbound John Rodes Boulevard, and proceed north to Eau Gallie Boulevard.
Wednesday, July 29: The northbound I-95 on-ramp from Eau Gallie Boulevard will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Thursday, July 30.
- Motorists traveling on Eau Gallie Boulevard who wish to access northbound I-95 should turn onto southbound John Rodes Boulevard from Eau Gallie Boulevard and continue south to Ellis Road. From there, turn right onto westbound Ellis Road and continue west to access the northbound I-95 on-ramp.
Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at U.S. 192
Thursday, July 30: The northbound I-95 off-ramp to U.S. 192 (Exit 180) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Friday, July 31.
· Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access U.S. 192 should continue north to Ellis Road (Exit 182). From there, turn left onto westbound Ellis Road and proceed to the southbound I-95 on-ramp. Travel south on I-95 to U.S. 192 (Exit 180).
Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange at Pineda Causeway (S.R. 404)
Thursday, July 30: The northbound I-95 off-ramp to Pineda Causeway (Exit 188) will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Friday, July 31.
- Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 who wish to access Pineda Causeway (Exit 188) should continue north and take the exit for Wickham Road (Exit 191). From there, turn left onto westbound Wickham Road, immediately re-enter southbound I-95, and proceed to the Pineda Causeway exit (Exit 188).
