Monday, January 19 to Thursday, January 22, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect multiple lane closures over the course of four days, with each day requiring a different configuration depending on the work being performed. The anticipated lane closures and associated detours are outlined below:
Monday, Jan. 19
S.R. 434 Northbound: Motorists can expect double-lane closures in the inside lanes, along with closures of the left-turn lanes from northbound S.R. 434 to westbound S.R. 436. Once paving in the inside lanes is complete, the double-lane closures will shift to the outside lanes.
S.R. 434 Southbound: Motorists can expect single-lane closures in the inside left-turn lane from southbound S.R. 434 to eastbound S.R. 436. These closures will be lifted once paving in the northbound inside lanes of S.R. 434 is complete.
S.R. 436: Motorists can expect single-lane closures in the eastbound outside through lane. A single-lane closure will also be in place in the inside left-turn lane from westbound S.R. 436 to southbound S.R. 434, which will be lifted once paving in the northbound inside lanes of S.R. 434 is complete.
Tuesday, Jan. 20
S.R. 434 Southbound: Motorists can expect double-lane closures in the inside lanes, along with closures of the left-turn lanes from southbound S.R. 434 to eastbound S.R. 436. Once paving in the inside lanes is complete, the double-lane closures will shift to the outside lanes.
S.R. 436: Motorists can expect single-lane closures in the eastbound and westbound outside through lanes.
Wednesday, Jan. 21
S.R. 436 Westbound: Motorists can expect double-lane closures in the left-turn lanes and inside through lanes, restricting northbound and southbound traffic on S.R. 434 from traveling straight through or making left turns across the intersection. Once resurfacing is complete, closures will shift to the westbound outside through lanes.
Thursday, Jan. 22
S.R. 436 Eastbound: Motorists can expect double-lane closures in the left-turn lanes and inside through lanes, restricting northbound and southbound traffic on S.R. 434 from traveling straight through or making left turns across the intersection. Once resurfacing is complete, closures will shift to the eastbound outside through lanes.
Detours:
In locations where all left-turn and through movements are restricted, motorists will be limited to right turns only. Motorists will be directed to turn right, make a U-turn at a designated median opening, and return to the intersection as needed to continue in their intended direction. Please see the detour maps in the Project Files below for more information.
