About

The purpose of this project is to repave a segment of State Road (S.R.) 436 from Lake Howell Road to the Orange County line to extend the service life of the roadway, and pedestrian crosswalks and curb ramps will be updated as needed in accordance with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Construction will also include the addition of raised concrete channelizing islands at several locations along the corridor to improve traffic flow and reduce conflict points.

Lane Closures
  • Monday, June 15 to Friday, June 19, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Motorists can expect intermittent single-lane closures in the outside lanes of southbound and northbound S.R. 436 between Lake Howell Road and Howell Branch Road. These closures are necessary for crews to perform concrete work.

    FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk and ride with caution and courtesy!

  • Monday, June 15 to Friday, June 19, from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect intermittent single-lane closures in the inside lanes of southbound and northbound S.R. 436 between Lake Howell Road and Howell Branch Road. These closures are necessary for crews to perform milling and paving work.
