About
The purpose of this project is to repave a segment of State Road (S.R.) 436 from Lake Howell Road to the Orange County line to extend the service life of the roadway, and pedestrian crosswalks and curb ramps will be updated as needed in accordance with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Construction will also include the addition of raised concrete channelizing islands at several locations along the corridor to improve traffic flow and reduce conflict points.

Sunday, August 16 to Thursday, August 20, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect intermittent single-lane closures in the inside and outside lanes of northbound and southbound S.R. 436 between Lake Howell Road and Casselton Drive. These closures are necessary for crews to perform milling and paving work.
FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk and ride with caution and courtesy!
