About
The Florida Department of Transportation is repaving a segment of State Road (S.R.) 436 from Lake Howell Road to the Orange County line to extend the service life of the roadway. Pedestrian crosswalks and curb ramps are being updated as needed in accordance with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
Construction also includes the addition of raised concrete channelizing islands at several locations along the corridor to improve traffic flow and reduce conflict points.

Tuesday, September 8 to Friday, September 11, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Motorists can expect intermittent single-lane closures in the right turn lanes of northbound and southbound S.R. 436 from Lake Howell Road to Winter Woods Boulevard. These closures are necessary for crews to perform concrete work.
