992501-9 U.S. 41 at Rainbow Lakes Boulevard

The Florida Department of Transportation plans to enhance safety and traffic operations at the intersection of U.S. 41 at Rainbow Lakes Boulevard in Marion County. The Florida Department of Transportation is intended to improve overall safety and traffic operations. A traffic services study conducted by the Department determined that a new traffic signal is warranted at this location.

As part of the Traffic Operations, the project includes the installation of a new traffic signal with mast arms. Pedestrian signals are not included in this project. Additional improvements involve the construction of guardrail within the intersection area to support the new infrastructure.
