The project at the intersection of U.S. 301 from south of Northeast 175th Street to the Alachua County line in Citra to extend the life of the existing roadway. The department aims to enhance overall safety and traffic operations. A traffic services study conducted by the Department determined that a new traffic signal is warranted. As part of the Traffic Operations Pushbutton Program, the work includes installing new traffic signal with new mast arms with no pedestrian. Additional improvements involve sidewalk and curb ramp construction, along with minor resurfacing within the intersection area.
