The purpose of this project is to enhance safety by converting the full median opening on West Granada Boulevard (State Road (S.R.) 40) at Water Oak Lane in Ormond Beach to a two-way directional median opening. These improvements will enhance safety by reducing the possibility of serious crashes.

These proposed improvements will continue to allow U-turns for both eastbound and westbound traffic on West Granada Boulevard. Eastbound traffic will be able to turn left onto Water Oak Lane. Westbound traffic will also be able to turn left into West Boulevard Centre. Traffic from Water Oak Lane and the West Boulevard Centre will only be able to turn right onto West Granada Boulevard.
