About

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) seeks to develop a corridor strategic plan for Interstate 95 (I-95) within District 5. This study includes the entirety of I-95 and the associated interchanges from the Indian River County line to the St. Johns County line, totaling a distance of approximately 137.1 miles and includes 31 interchanges. The strategic plan will consider the surrounding land uses, projected growth, and ongoing transportation network changes to develop recommendations for both short-term and long-term improvements to accommodate travel demand in this vital highway corridor that connects the east coast communities.  The plan will consider all applicable modes of transportation and will address the Department’s goals with respect to mobility, safety, resiliency, technology, and community engagement.

Please check this website regularly for updates. Project documents, meeting announcements, and other important information will be uploaded as it becomes available.
