The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is proposing to improve safety along State Road (S.R.) 423 (Lee Road) in the City of Winter Park from Wymore Road to U.S. 17-92. Work includes upgrading the corridor lighting within the project limits.

To enhance pedestrian safety, a new signalized pedestrian crossing is proposed on S.R. 423 near Country Club Drive. The concept would install a pedestrian activated signal in the median. This improvement requires an access change to restrict left turns from Country Club Drive to westbound S.R. 423.
