This project will mill and resurface a segment of Interstate 95 (I-95) (State Road 9) from the southbound rest area to the Volusia County line in Brevard County. The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate the asphalt pavement to maintain a safe and reliable driving surface. Work will include adding ground-in rumble strips on the outside lanes to help alert drivers if the vehicle travels outside of the lane and new signage. Sections of guardrail may also be replaced as needed.
