454215-1 U.S. 301 from SE 142nd Place to U.S. 27/U.S. 441

This project plans to resurface a segment of U.S. 301 (State Road (S.R.) 35) from SE 142nd Place to U.S. 27/U.S. 441 (S.R. 500) to rehabilitate the asphalt and maintain a safe and roadway. The limits are partially within the City of Belleview in Marion County. 

Safety enhancements include adding right turn lanes at SE 140th Street, SE 135th Street and SE 132nd Street. A median modification is also being considered at SE 135th Street.

Buffered bicycle lanes can be accommodated by repurposing the parking lane along a portion of the corridor. Bicycle thru lanes next to right-turn lanes are also proposed. Pedestrian improvements include constructing small sections of connecting sidewalk and upgrading curb ramps as needed.
