About

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) plans to resurface a section of U.S. 441/U.S. 301/U.S. 27 (State Road (S.R.) 200) from NW 2nd Street to County Road (C.R.) 200A (NW 20th Street) in Ocala, Marion County. The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate the asphalt pavement to maintain a reliable and safe driving surface.

Additional safety improvements include converting the existing full median opening to a directional median at the intersection of NW 8th Street. Additionally, the project will reconstruct and upgrade the existing traffic signal at S.R. 492 (Bonnie Heath Boulevard) and reconstructing pedestrian curb ramps and realigning crosswalks.
