452574-1 S.R. 60 from Prairie Lake Road to Florida’s Turnpike

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) conducted a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study to evaluate improvements to State Road (S.R.) 60, from Prairie Lake Road to Florida’s Turnpike in Osceola County, a distance of 19.3 miles. The purpose of this project is to address future travel demand and improve safety.

 The improvements evaluated by this PD&E Study include widening the existing roadway from two to four lanes and safety improvements. The PD&E Study was approved in April 2026.
