The purpose of this project is to resurface U.S. 192 (East Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway/Vine Street) from Main Street to Aeronautical Drive. The project will also reconstruct sidewalk curb ramps in accordance with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and refresh crosswalks.

Additional work to be performed includes widening the westbound access road from Florida's Turnpike at Cross Prairie Parkway to add a new through/left-turn lane. The traffic signal will also be reconstructed and upgraded. The existing free-flow right-turn lane and dual left-turn lanes will remain. All work will be done within the existing right of way. 

A project open house for this project will be held on Thursday, September 18. The in-person open house will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hart Memorial Central Library, 211 E. Dakin Ave., Kissimmee, FL 34741. Attendees will have an opportunity to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members, and submit comments or questions.
