447717-1 S.R. 50 (East Colonial Drive) at North Fern Creek Avenue and Primrose Drive

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) implemented improvements on State Road (S.R.) 50 (East Colonial Drive) at the intersections of North Fern Creek Avenue and South Primrose Drive. The existing concrete strain poles supporting the traffic signals at each intersection were replaced with steel mast arms and new signal heads. Pedestrian signals were also upgraded, along with curb reconstruction and sidewalk curb ramp modifications to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Drainage modifications, pavement resurfacing within each intersection, and a new bus pad at South Primrose Drive were also completed.
