About
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing improvements on State Road (S.R.) 50 (East Colonial Drive) at the intersections of North Fern Creek Avenue, and South Primrose Drive. The existing concrete strain poles supporting the traffic signals at each intersection will be replaced with steel mast arms and new signal heads. Pedestrian signals will also be upgraded, along with curb reconstruction and sidewalk curb ramp modifications to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Drainage modifications, pavement resurfacing within each intersection, and a new bus pad at South Primrose Drive are also planned.

Lane Closures

Monday, January 20 to Friday, January 24, from 9:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect an eastbound outside single lane closure on S.R 50 from Hampton Avenue to Primrose Drive for directional bore, fiber optic, and traffic signalization work.
