This Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project will extend the life of the existing roadway by milling and resurfacing the eastbound travel lanes of State Road (S.R.) 33/S.R. 50 (Orange Street) from east of Ivey Street—where the road diverges from the westbound lanes—to Crittenden Street.

To enhance pedestrian safety, this project will construct a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (PHB) west of Alabama Avenue, and two Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB)—one east of Georgia Avenue and the other west of Indiana Avenue. Other improvements include the construction of curbed islands, reconstruction of sidewalks and driveways, installation of signs and pavement markings, and signal modification at North Lake Avenue and South Main Avenue.
