This Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project aims to extend the life of the existing roadway by milling and resurfacing the eastbound travel lanes of State Road (S.R.) 33/S.R. 50 (Broad Street) from just east of Ivey Street, where the road diverges from the westbound lanes, to Crittenden Street.

Other improvements include the construction of curbed islands, reconstruction of sidewalks, signs and pavement marking, signal modification at North Lake Avenue and South Main Avenue, and pedestrian signalization.
