Project Details
About
This project will improve safety and operations along State Road (S.R.) 33 from south of Edgewood Boys Ranch Road to Wright Street. Safety improvements for drivers include widening the existing paved shoulders through the curves in the road along Edgewood Boys Ranch Road and Groveland Airport Road and creating a new southbound left turn from S.R. 33 to Pine Island Road (County Road (C.R.) 565B).
A new southbound left turn lane from S.R. 33 onto Groveland Airport Road and new sidewalk between Domenico Court and Parkwood Road along northbound S.R. 33 will also be constructed.

Lane Closures

Sunday, Feb. 15, through Friday, Feb. 20, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists should be advised that there will be rotating northbound and southbound lane closures as needed along S.R. 33, from Domenico Court to Anderson Road, for roadway drainage and sidewalk construction.
FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy!
*Lane closures are subject to change due to unforeseen events and weather.

Overnight on Sunday, Feb. 15, through overnight on Friday, Feb. 20, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists should be advised that there will be rotating northbound and southbound lane closures as needed along S.R. 33, from Domenico Court to Anderson Road, for installation of curb and gutter, as well as barrier wall repair.
