About
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) implemented safety and operational improvements along State Road (S.R.) 33 from south of Edgewood Boys Ranch Road to Wright Street in Groveland.
Safety improvements included widening the existing paved shoulders through the curves near Edgewood Boys Ranch Road and Groveland Airport Road, and adding new southbound left-turn lanes to Pine Island Road (County Road (C.R.) 565B) and Groveland Airport Road. Additionally, a new sidewalk was constructed along northbound S.R. 33 between Domenico Court and Parkwood Street.
