Project Details
About
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will provide roadway and safety improvements on State Road (S.R.) 464 from Southwest 2nd Avenue to S.R. 35 in Ocala, Marion County. The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate the road and enhance safety for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians.
Work will consist of milling and resurfacing the roadway, as well as upgrading the pedestrian signals and enhancing intersection lighting. To facilitate operations along the corridor the project will be modifying some driveways and adjusting drainage as needed. Additional work will include the construction of sidewalks, bicycle lanes, and bus stops along the corridor.

Sunday, July 28, through Saturday, August 3, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Motorists should expect daytime eastbound and westbound shoulder closures along S.R. 464 (Maricamp Road) from U.S. 301 to S.R. 35 (Baseline Road) for drainage, sidewalks, and ditch grading. Please reduce your speed, alertly merge into the open lane, and cautiously bypass the construction zone.

Sunday, July 21, through Saturday, July 27
7 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Motorists should expect daytime eastbound and westbound shoulder closures along S.R. 464 (Maricamp Road) within the project limits for drainage, sidewalks, and ditch grading. Please reduce your speed, alertly merge into the open lane, and cautiously bypass the construction zone.
9 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Motorists should expect nightly alternating eastbound and westbound outside lane closures on S.R. 464 (Maricamp Road) from 44th Avenue Road to S.R. 35 (Baseline Road) for widening activities.
