About

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is milling and resurfacing Interstate 95 (I-95) from south of Dunn Avenue in Daytona Beach to Airport Road in Volusia County. Work also includes new roadway markings, highway signs, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) components to improve safety, mobility, and efficiency.

Lane Closures
  • Sunday, June 26, through Thursday, June 30, from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Intermittent single and double lane closures on southbound and northbound I-95 from Dunn Avenue to Airport Road for roadway work.

  • Two ramps on Interstate 95 (I-95) at the State Road (S.R.) 40 (Granada Blvd) interchange in Ormond Beach, Volusia County, will close consecutively on Sunday, June 26, between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. for roadway work. Traffic will be directed by electronic message boards and other signage during the ramp closures, and detours will be in place. 

    Only one ramp will be closed at a time in the following order:

    1. The entrance ramp onto I-95 southbound from S.R. 40 (Granada Boulevard) in Ormond Beach will close first on this night. See detour info below:
      • Motorists traveling eastbound on S.R. 40 (Granada Boulevard) will be directed to turn right onto Williamson Blvd, then turn right again onto LPGA Blvd to access the ramp to I-95 southbound. 
      • Motorists traveling westbound on S.R. 40 (Granada Boulevard) will be directed to turn left onto Williamson Blvd, then turn right onto LPGA Blvd to access the entrance to I-95 southbound.

    2. The I-95 northbound off-ramp onto State Road (S.R.) 40 (Granada Boulevard) at Exit 268 in Ormond Beach will close after work on the previous ramp is complete. See detour info below: 

      The I-95 southbound off-ramp onto State Road 40 (Granada Blvd) at Exit 268 in Ormond Beach, Volusia County, will be closed on Monday, June 27, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for roadway work. Traffic will be directed by electronic message boards and other signage during the ramp closure, and the following detour will be in place:

      The I-95 southbound off-ramp onto LPGA Blvd at Exit 265 in Daytona Beach, Volusia County, will be closed on Tuesday, June 28, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for roadway work. Traffic will be directed by electronic message boards and other signage during the ramp closure, and the following detour will be in place:

      The I-95 northbound off-ramp onto LPGA Blvd at Exit 265 in Daytona Beach, Volusia County, will be closed on Wednesday, June 29, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for roadway work. Traffic will be directed by electronic message boards and other signage during the ramp closure, and the following detour will be in place:

      • Motorists traveling I-95 northbound will be directed to continue north and take Exit 268 (Ormond Beach/Ocala), turn left onto State Road 40 (West Granada Boulevard), and then follow road signage onto I-95 southbound. Motorists will then continue south on I-95 and take Exit 265 (Holly Hill/Daytona Beach) to access LPGA Boulevard. Please click this link for a visual of the detour route.
