About

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is milling and resurfacing Interstate 95 (I-95) from south of Dunn Avenue in Daytona Beach to Airport Road in Volusia County. Work also includes new roadway markings, highway signs, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) components to improve safety, mobility, and efficiency.

Lane Closures
  • The I-95 northbound off-ramp onto State Road 40 (Granada Blvd) at Exit 268 in Ormond Beach, Volusia County, will close nightly on Sunday, January 23 & Monday, January 24 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Traffic will be directed by electronic message boards and other signage during the ramp closure, and the following detour will be in place:

    • Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 will be directed to continue north to take Exit 273 (Ormond Beach/Bunnell), turn left onto U.S. 1 (S.R. 5), and then turn right onto Nova Road to access S.R. 40 (Granada Blvd).

    The I-95 southbound off-ramp onto State Road 40 (Granada Blvd) at Exit 268 in Ormond Beach, Volusia County, will close nightly on Tuesday, January 25 & Wednesday, January 26 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Traffic will be directed by electronic message boards and other signage during the ramp closure, and the following detour will be in place:

    • Motorists traveling south on I-95 will be directed to take Exit 273 (Ormond Beach/Bunnell), turn left onto U.S. 1 (S.R. 5), and then turn right onto Nova Road to access S.R. 40 (Granada Blvd). 

    Please note that construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Always be cautious and avoid distractions when driving through a work zone.
