The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate the asphalt pavement on State Road (S.R.) 434 from Rangeline Road to west of Talmo Street and enhance mobility and safety for all users. In addition to repaving this section of S.R. 434, the project plans to add 4-foot-wide bicycle lanes by restriping the travel lanes.
The project also plans to replace the existing grassed buffer between the sidewalk and roadway with stamped concrete to create a wider 8-foot-wide sidewalk and upgrade lighting.
A section of S.R. 434 on either side of Ronald Reagan Boulevard will be omitted from this project and reconstructed as part of an intersection improvement being designed by Seminole County (under FPID No.: 439040-1)
