The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will renovate the northbound Interstate 75 (I-75) rest area between County Road (C.R.) 484 and State Road (S.R.) 200 in Marion County.

The goal of the project is to reconstruct the facilities and update amenities to better serve the traveling public and meet current standards. Additional parking for passenger vehicles, RVs, and trucks will be established.

WHAT TO EXPECT: During construction, the rest area will be closed to the public. The rest area will be closed to the public until the project is complete.

The construction schedule may change due to weather or other unexpected conditions.
