The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) conducted a Corridor Planning Study that evaluated a multi-use trail along State Road 40 (S.R. 40) from Levy Hammock Road to U.S. 17, a distance of approximately 27 miles. The purpose of this study was to identify and evaluate alternatives that can be carried forward to the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study phase of project development. The Corridor Planning Study was completed in April 2019 and the final documents are included below. 

The S.R. 40 Black Bear Scenic Trail is not currently funded for future phases.
