About
This is a widening project to increase capacity and improve safety performance on the segment of State Road (S.R.) 50 from east of County Road (C.R.) 478A to the Sumter/Lake County line. The project plans to widen this segment of S.R. 50 from two to four lanes.
The right of way phase for this project began in spring 2022 and is expected to be complete in late 2024.
