About
The Florida Department of Transportation is working to improve operations at the intersection of John Young Parkway (U.S. 17-92 / South Orange Blossom Trail) and Pleasant Hill Road / South Hoagland Boulevard. The project aims to relieve congestion, improve access, extend bicycle and pedestrian facilities, enhance aesthetics, and add landscaping within the project area. These improvements will consider capacity, safety, and multi-modal enhancements while minimizing potential impacts to the natural and human environments. The project is being conducted in three (3) steps:
- Step 1: Resurfacing, Restoration, and Rehabilitation (RRR) Project – U.S. 17-92 from east of Ham Brown Road to south of Portage Street. Refer to FPID 445210-1 for more information.
- Step 2: John Young Parkway Quad Road and Flyover – John Young Parkway / U.S. 17-92 at Pleasant Hill Road Intersection Improvements
- Step 3: John Young Parkway Widening – Widening John Young Parkway from Pleasant Hill Road to Portage Street
